Elderberry Flax Shorts

These shorts are made from hand-spun and hand-woven textiles from early 20th-century China. The slubs in the fabric—thicker lines in the warp—indicate that the cotton was spun by hand. It was woven in thin strips on a small hand loom. Hand-mending throughout.
